Hide & Protect Data on Android Phone and PC without any Software

In this article we are going to show you How to Hide & Protect our Data in Android and PC from others without any Application/Software or Password. Luckily, it's easy to hide your secret data like WhatsApp, Private Data etc. and prevent them from showing up with others. Let's start...

How for Android?

 Step 1  Open the File Explorer on your Android. , same as in your PC open Local Disk.

 Step 2  Create a New Folder with given name ".Tech-Notify.Hide.Files".

 Step 3  After folder is created, click on "⁞" (3 dots menu) at the bottom/top-right/left.

 Step 4  Now, tap on "Show hidden files".

 Step 5  You can see your file at the top of the directory list.

 Step 6  Voila! It's Done.

Now save your all secret/private files in this folder. You can save this folder anywhere in your file manager.

How for PC?

 Step 1  Open the My Computer → open any Drive (where you want to save) on your PC.

 Step 2  Create a New Folder with given name ".Tech-Notify.Hide.Files".

 Step 3  After folder is created successfully then click on Organize at the top-left.

 Step 4  Now, follow View Tab → check the "Show hidden files, folders, or drives" → OK.

 Step 5  You can see your file in the Drive where you created.

 Step 6  Voila! It's Done.

Now save your all secret/private files in this folder. You can save this folder anywhere in your file manager.

How it works?

In case you are wondering, Data disappear from Gallery and File Explorer, because Android OS is based on Linux, in which adding a dot (.) in front of a Folder or a File makes it hidden. You can visible your hidden data at any time and make them visible yet again in the Gallery and File Explorer by renaming the file name.
